How to Choose Lining for Curtains

  • Also, as we mentioned earlier, there are linings with thermal insulation. These linings are lightweight and provide good structure for any drapery. These fabrics also have mildew resistant properties, but they do let in some light, making them an ideal choice for living areas but not bedrooms.

  • In our showrooms, there is a huge selection of blackout curtain fabrics that are 100% blackout and do not require the use of additional linings. However, it is not always easy to create intricate draperies with them. Therefore, when creating curtains with more complex designs and draping, our designers often use other fabrics together with lining that provides 100% blackout. This lining also has a good structure for draping and folds well. It can be paired with sheer or drapery fabric and is effective for insulation and saving on heating costs. All types of lining fabrics have an excellent structure that makes the curtain drape very beautifully.
